Meet North Hills Natural Medicine's New Nurse Practitioner:

Hello, my name is Maddie Meadows and I have recently started working here at North Hills Natural Medicine as a Nurse Practitioner. I am a graduate from Pitt with a B.S. in Psychology and went on to receive my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Duquesne University. From there, I have worked at UPMC Presbyterian, Passavant in their CVICU, and traveled in Ohio as an ICU nurse. I ended up at AHN Wexford, where I still work casually. I graduated this past December from Carlow University as a Family Nurse Practitioner.

I have been interested in natural and holistic medicine for over ten years when I started down my own journey of health. I started researching the Paleo diet and how to take care of yourself from the inside out. Even though critical care is my specialty, I knew I wanted to be an NP in natural medicine as I witnessed too many chronic illnesses and not enough preventative medicine in the conventional world. I am so lucky to have found a like-minded physician in Dr. Goldstein and cannot wait to learn and grow as a natural medicine practitioner.

I currently live in Gibsonia with my husband, Ty, and our dog, Buddy. We are in the process of moving to Zelienople, hopefully this August. I love cooking, traveling, and hiking with Buddy. I am a member of the PA Coalition of Nurse Practitioners, the Holistic Nursing Association, and the Academy of Integrative Health and Medicine. I look forward to meeting you all!
